Job Requirements AARP Media Sales is currently seeking an Advertising Services Associate to provide immediate support to the Sales Operations team. This role is responsible for supporting sales initiatives for two national publications, from sales forecasting to billing. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, deadline driven professional that is a team player as well as an independent self starter, requiring minimal supervision. This candidate should encompass excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multitask with accuracy, work well under pressure, and have exceptional organizational skills, paired with a strong work ethic. Magazine Publishing experience is preferred, specifically in book makeup and sales forecasting.

The Advertising Services Associate’s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Process insertion orders for our publications and ensure ad placement accuracy
Track positioning details in both Excel and Admarc Billing System
Create layouts for small space sections of our publications
Assemble mockup books and the wall for each magazine layout
Revenue forecasting in Excel and Salesforce for print and digital properties
Assist with the management of positioning requests and layouts
Work closely with Sales and Production Departments to ensure deadlines are met
Review all editorial prior to print to guarantee advertiser satisfaction
Coordinate travel and input expenses as needed for department
Provide departmental administrative support

Bachelors Degree or equivalent, with 4 or more years of relevant work experience.
Well versed in Excel, knowledge of Admarc and Salesforce strongly preferred.
