Job Description

The Atlantic currently seeks an ambitious, entrepreneurial professional to join our ranks and support our fast paced consumer marketing team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in all aspects of traditional print and digital consumer marketing, magazine publishing, coupled with a solid professional and academic background.

Responsibilities Include:

•Coordinate all aspects of direct mail, gift, and insert promotions—from creative to production to mail drop to campaign analysis and optimization
•Manage online source from concept to creative to implementation with focus on driving subscriptions
•Coordinate and execute all email marketing and reactivation campaigns
•Assist Consumer Marketing Director with digital platform and other paid content growth initiatives
•Generate annual acquisitions strategy in conjunction with Consumer Marketing Director
•Support Consumer Marketing Director with annual expense budget and provide detailed reporting for monthly financial analysis.
•Manage and update monthly consumer marketing reporting
•Manage monthly forecasting and reporting of eReader performance across platforms
•Negotiate favorable terms with printers, lettershops and list owners
•Be accountable for meeting budget and subscription goals
•Research competitive digital and traditional practices and make recommendations to test and develop new sources of business
•Work closely with internal departments to produce consistent and appropriate consumer messaging

Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate Include:

•3-5 years consumer marketing/magazine publishing experience
•Experience in online, SEO, and email marketing subscription development
•Outstanding record of achievement in current/past positions
•Creativity, persistence and tenacity
•Strong analytics and real-time judgment
•Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
•Effective time management and organization skills
•Strong work ethic
•Experience with Palm Coast Data reporting a plus
•Bachelor’s degree
