Job Requirements Responsible for developing sources and story ideas for leading news source in the market, as well as following through with quality reporting for print and/or online. Demonstrate ability to work quality sources to get the scoop ahead of the competition. Must also be willing to take direction on assignments and be comfortable with tight turnaround times.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Must produce accurate and concise news articles for print and online
• Must produce accurate and thorough news analysis for print and online
• Proofreading pages
• Contribute to blog as assigned
• Develop ideas and create video

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• BA/BS in English, Journalism or related field; can trade for additional work experience
• 4+ years experience writing, creating and editing web content
• Strong writing skills
• A curious and analytical mind
• Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, ever-changing environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Photography a plus
