ROLE SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The Director, Ad Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of digital advertising operations for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel. This includes optimization of direct sold and affiliate partner streams, ad product design and inventory packaging. The Director will create and maintain campaign reports, analyze and make recommendations on sales and execution strategies and best practices for all cross-functional departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Ensure optimal monetization of remnant inventory through affiliate and partner networks.
-Design ad product and user experiences.
-Develop premium inventory packaging and tiering.
-Accurately forecast across inventory tiers.
-Identify opportunities and implement solutions that increase the effectiveness and efficiencies of the department including the -development of tools, process and reports.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
-BA/BS Degree from four-year College or University
-5 years experience
-Experience using Ad Management tools
-Experience with Omniture, comScore, Nielsen, or other online marketing audience measurement database
-Experience using MS Excel
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
-Extensive knowledge of industry, market and competitive events.
-Experience working in agency and publisher environments with a strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem
-Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
-Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
-Experience working with FreeWheel’s MRM software
-Advanced level MS Excel proficiency
-Must possess strong analytic, strategic problem-solving and decision-making skills
-Strong communication and client relationship skills
-Ability to analyze and present metrics
