Job Requirements We're looking for a news editor who is experienced, driven and eager to lead an award-winning team of five reporters. The right candidate should be a writer and coach who can edit breaking news on digital channels and also quarterback long-form, enterprise pieces for the weekly newspaper, which runs 100-plus pages a week.

You should have at least three years experience in a comparable editing job. Some knowledge of Vermont required -- or explain how you would find and vet stories in a place you know nothing about.
About Our Company Seven Days is an independent, locally owned media company based in Burlington, Vermont. We publish Vermon't largest weekly newspaper, which combines sophisticated arts coverage with news features and investigative reporting. We also publish a monthly parenting magazine, a quarterly French-English tourist magazine, an annual dining guide, an annual college student guide and multiple niche websites, apps and enewsletters, as well as an award-winning web video series, "Stuck in Vermont." We have approximately 35 full-time employees who take their work very seriously but try not to take themselves too seriously.
