Job Requirements Possess strong creative writing skills, customer-orientation, and flawless use of English required.
• Must be versatile in multi-channel communications, detail-oriented and extremely organized, able to take direction, capable of dealing with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities, and possess the ability to move quickly and comfortably between multiple projects while maintaining high levels of creative.
• A proven ability to work quickly and efficiently with accuracy and attention to detail
• Impeccable command of English, including spelling, vocabulary, and grammar.
• Sound knowledge of fashion, designers and brands
• Excellent people management and project management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word. Working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Internet programs, issues, and protocols within a Macintosh environment (preferred).
• B.A. in Creative Writing, English, Journalism, or related field.
• 5 years experience managing junior staff.
• 6 years min. professional writing experience.
• 3 years min. writing for the web, and/or multimedia.

About Our Company The Associate Editorial Director will serve as a primary partner to the Creative Director and key contributor in producing and presenting all content for Piperlime across every channel including site, email, print and digital advertising, direct mail, PR, events and social. The ideal candidate will have significant editorial strategy, planning and writing experience and an understanding of the online audience as well as the fashion retail space.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance and evolution of the Piperlime voice and brand identity across all channels.
• Produce ideas that are strategically and tonally on brand, succinct, insightful, and memorable and in line with project goals and brand values.
• Plan editorial calendar in partnership with Creative Director and marketing leads, contributing compelling and innovative ideas that drive the site and in-store execution.
• Develop fresh and original editorial ideas and new initiatives at the beginning of, and throughout, the season which are commercially viable, promote sales, on brand, on trend and will provide styling and fashion tips to the customer
