Do you have a passion for food and producing amazing video? Are you interested in meeting and shooting some of the national leading chefs and hottest food events in New York City? If so, look no further!
The Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) is looking for freelance video production experts to help us shoot, edit, and produce video for New York City's largest and most active center for culinary education.
Video needs vary from 2-3 minute pieces featuring a technique, trend or demonstration to 1-2 minute VIP interviews. One day, you may film a lecture in its entirety for reference on student iPads and the next day you may film a 30-second technique by a leading chef. Regardless, you'll take creative direction from our in-house content producers and rely on their pre-production work. We'll then look to you to operate all camera equipment, sound (if need be), lighting (if need be, with our assistance) and edit all post production.
Videos must be turned around in 1-2 weeks and be of similar style and quality (HD broadcast) to our present ones at: http://www.youtube.com/iceculinary
If you have your own equipment, great. If you donate and are super-talented, please still apply: ICE is strongly considering purchasing our own equipment. In addition, http://www.fotocare.com/ is in our lobby, so the best equipment is never far!
If you are interested, please email brian@ice.edu the following information, subject: Video
1) Resume showing your amazing skill set and experience
2) Portfolio with links to at least 3 of your most recent work samples (may use for references)
3) Daily/hourly rate for filming and post production needs as described above
4) Whether or not you possess your own equipment
Applicants must be in the tri-state area and commutable distance to ICE.
