? Bachelors Degree
? 1-3 Years general experience
? Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
? Working knowledge or familiarity with research tools and resources (e.g.Ad Database, MediaRadar, Starch, MMR, MRI )
? Strong attention to detail
? Can do attitude
? Strong written and verbal communication skills
? Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
? Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
? Previous sales and publishing experience is helpful, but not required
? Interest in sales, marketing and publishing

Competitive hourly rate, 30 hours a week.

| About Our Company |
THE WEEK will provide the individual with overall understanding of a position in sales, marketing and publishing from the vantage point of a recognized media brand. The Sales Assistant will provide administrative support to the Southwest Advertising Director.
Responsibilities
• Assist with RFP development and execution
• Manage, organize and maintain internal charts including billing, positioning, insertion contracts and client contact lists
• Assist with preparation of sales materials and client presentations
• Facilitate client mailings on behalf of The Week and Mental Floss
• Coordinate travel arrangements, business meetings/outings on behalf of the Ad Director
• Produce bi-monthly expense reports
• Assist with special projects including special event planning
• Serve as key contact for day to day office issues – IT upgrades, supply ordering, tech issues etc.
