Job Requirements Yelp is seeking a creative and proactive Sales Planner, Brand Solutions to work closely with our Sales and Operations team. In this role, the Sales Planner, Brand Solutions will prioritize Yelp’s Brand Solutions accounts and strategize sales outreach to key development opportunities. The Sales Planner, Brand Solutions will further generate proposals in response to RFPs from top direct advertisers and agencies and develop sales material and documentation utilized by our sales organization.

The Sales Planner, Brand Solutions should be intimately familiar with online media, specifically the display advertising sales and delivery life cycle. Any Sales Planner, Brand Solutions candidate will need to demonstrate direct experience of responding to RFPs and creating custom proposals for sensitive, key accounts. The candidate will also be highly proficient with key tools such as 3rd party ad serving platforms and sales management tools; also, highly organized and detailed-oriented, with solid communication skills and the ability to work on multiple ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

* Working with the Yelp Brand Solutions team to think strategically about accounts and presenting solutions based on Yelp’s core competitive advantages
* Provide pre-sales support to Brand Solution Account Executives by pulling accurate inventory availability forecasts/reports in DFP's Availability Forecast
* Assist with Comscore reports on a regular basis
* Work with Yelp's Brand Solutions team to execute, complete and fulfill RFPs. Review and build media plans and ensure accuracy of placement details. Assist in filling out advertising spec templates and answering questions about Yelp’s ad specs
* Understand the fundamentals of pricing, and ensure consistency across all channels
* Build processes to ensure all documentation and communications are properly classified, as well as communicated to internal client
* Develop sales presentations and proposals in PowerPoint when necessary
* Develop strong understanding of Yelp’s ad products and sponsorship opportunities

Performance Metrics

* Reply to $100k+ RFP’s within the deadline set by the potential advertiser (given reasonable turnaround time of ~24-48 hours)
* Develop sales collateral for each new product before roll out
* Send weekly/monthly reports to sales (Comscore/Sell Thru report)

Skills and Experience

* 4-year college degree required
* 2-3 years experience in relevant position in Online Advertising/Marketing
* Knowledge of the interactive marketplace (gaming and /or entertainment experience is a plus)
* Strong work ethic and abilitiy to multi-task – must be able to juggle multiple projects and clients
* Excellent team player with strong attention to detail and good time management skills
* Strong experience with Comscore, Excel, PowerPoint and PhotoShop
* Excellent communication skills
