Job Requirements
Goodreads is seeking a highly quantitative, creative, process and detail oriented Sales Operations Manager.
You will work cross-functionally with several internal organizations including sales, ad operations and business intelligence. Your primary objective is enabling the advertising sales and finance teams to efficiently scale the business.
In this role you will also own the Salesforce relationship with our direct advertising sales team members. Responsibilities range from maintenance, configuration and reporting to creating training programs. You will work with your customer base in gathering requirements for feature enhancements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sales Operations
- Support Advertising Sales teams with planning and operational responsibilities
- Continuously increase the efficiency and scalability of the sales and finance teams by streamlining processes and implementing automation
- Project manage the development of centralized tools that Sales teams can use to extract data / insights for daily business management in an automated manner
- Project manage the integration and upgrade of ad serving and CRM platforms
- Provide operational support for sales forecasting, order management and incentive compensation
- Salesforce.com Admin
- Setup and manage the Salesforce.com CRM application
- Maintain user roles, security, profiles, workflow rules
- Administer standard and custom objects
- Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users
- Train and on-board users onto Salesforce; ensure high adoption and proper usage
- Communicate with users and stakeholders about system changes
- Scope, build, refine, and deliver custom CRM solutions within Salesforce.com
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- SFDC Certified Administrator
- Experience implementing and configuring Salesforce.com or similar CRM cloud-based solution
- Experience with online advertising
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with ETL tools like DataLoader or similar
