Job Requirements
The winning candidate will have a demonstrated ability to write about digital media and how it is changing media-consumption habits and business models for media companies. Specifically, the Min senior editor will be responsible for:
• At least three to five years’ experience as a managerial level journalist working on a media brand.
• Writing stories for the newsletter and other Min channels.
• Overseeing and contributing to the design and layout of the weekly newsletter in InCopy and posting of the newsletter and other stories and content online.
• Compilation, creation and analysis of a variety of charts and metrics for the Min newsletter, including its iconic boxscores.
• Assisting in selecting finalists and generally judging Min awards programs, including Hall of Famers and others.
• Leading Media Group conference development, including creating sessions, recruiting speakers and coordinating the efforts of other staff. He or she will attend Min and Folio: events and prepare awards scripts as necessary.
• Oversee, with the assistance of the editor in chief and the digital editor, the supervision of freelance contributors.
• Oversee Web site content posting.
• Developing ideas for Min books and compiling and organizing pre-published material for the Min bookstore.
• Recruiting three or four contributing columnists per month.

Access Intelligence is seeking a senior editor for its Min brand and other Media Group brands in our Norwalk, CT office. Min is a prestigious weekly paid newsletter, a robust Website, industry-leading books and a broad suite of events and awards programs. The min brand focuses on analysis of what leading-edge media companies are doing in this era of rapid transformation.
The senior editor will be responsible for compiling and analyzing data and writing multiple stories for Min weekly, primarily for the New York-based consumer-magazine industry, but also for b-to-b and other sectors. He or she will also take the lead in programming and recruiting for Min and Folio: events.
