Columbus Monthly seeks an experienced Senior Editor to lead the magazine’s front-of-book section. The Senior Editor will have a strong vision for crafting a section that captures all aspects of city life — news, culture, arts, music, shopping, style, sports — with unique formats and lively writing. Columbus Monthly’s front-of-book should be dynamic and fun, with inventive visual flair that reflects the energy of the city. This is a unique opportunity for a creative editor to put his or her stamp on a growing section.
The Senior Editor will also write and edit feature stories and cover stories, and contribute other ideas and content to the magazine. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and editing skills, a passion for connecting with Columbus Monthly’s readers, and will thrive under deadline pressure in a high-energy, collaborative newsroom.
