| Job Requirements |
The associate editor will be responsible for editing articles for the magazine's print and online editions, working carefully with authors and the rest of the editorial team to make complicated policy arguments clear to a broad readership. Other responsibilities will include adapting lengthier articles for op-ed placement, promoting published pieces, and helping during the magazine’s production process. Candidates should have proven editorial and writing skills and strong organizational ability, as well as basic affinity with City Journal’s political and philosophical vision.
