The Classified Sales Rep with Plastics News will report to the Classified Sales Manager and prospect for new business and upsell existing accounts in print and online. You will need to be passionate about the advertising industry and be highly motivated, enthusiastic and ready to go the “extra mile!”


Primary Responsibilities include:

· Maintain and upsell existing accounts

· Prospect new business via “cold calling”

· Meet and exceed weekly/monthly new business & existing business sales & activity goals.

· Build manage and grow relationships with a diverse client base

· Order entry for print & web ads and manage/update all activity reports including an ACT database

· Work with accounting department in resolving disputes

· Work with production to meet all deadlines

· Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree

· Minimum of 3 to 5+ years of inside sales experience with a proven successful sales track record. Some outside sales experience would be a plus

· Report activity on time.

· Creativity when it comes to ad design can help

· Excellent verbal/written communication skills

· Computer proficiency and Internet savvy essential

· Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks with accuracy in a fast-paced environment

· Knowledge of plastics industry would be a plus
