Job Requirements Marketing & event production company headquartered in NYC seeks a Staffing Coordinator to join our Staffing Department.

Responsibilities include:
• Vetting, selecting and scheduling staff for marketing programs and events
• Confirming staff the day prior to a program or event
• Relaying all necessary information for the staff before a program or event (pay rate, attire, meeting point etc)
• Assisting with staff training sessions
• Maintaining detailed staff grids for each program or event
• Holding casting calls
• Building our staffing database via online & social media recruitment efforts in major markets

Candidate must have:
• 1 – 2 years experience in staffing, casting or scheduling
• Excellent communication skills
• Precise attention to detail and be a logistical mastermind
• A love for all things organization: databases, grids, files – you never met a spreadsheet you didn’t like!
• Experience working with a VARIETY of people – it takes all kinds in this business!
• Great judgment and instincts – you can recognize talent and are a good character read
• Willingness to do what it takes – this position sometimes requires evening and weekend work (being accessible and on email, not necessarily in the office)

Position Details:
• Full time salaried position
• Health insurance package available after 3 months (company pays majority of costs with a monthly member contribution paid by you)
• PTO including vacation days, personal days, sick days
• Annual compensation review
