Overview

The Programmatic Analyst will partner with key internal and external partners to influence all aspects of exchange trading and audience extension management. The ideal candidate has proven experience with ad exchanges, ad trafficking, and creative troubleshooting.  Barring that, a well-seasoned poker player or financial trader is also desirable.

The Programmatic team is overseen by the Senior Director of Programmatic & Trading. This position will report directly to the Sales Director.

Responsibilities include:

-         Understanding of patterns, statistics, and probabilities to set pricing and find new opportunities

-         Exhibit an understanding of ad traffic and performance

-         Deep understanding of online inventory

-         Work with clients and agencies to manage technical implementation of private deals

-         Manage troubleshooting of all programmatic platforms: video, display, mobile.

-         Manage the RFP process for programmatic media plans.

-         Proactively monitoring all campaigns for both delivery and performance

-         Recommendation of appropriate campaign optimizations when applicable

-         Collaborate and communication with marketing and sales on new products and online media landscape

-         Become the expert on the exchange marketplaces

 

Qualifications:

-         Must possess 1-3 years of digital experience

-         Self starter; able to work in a startup environment

-         Strong proficiency in math and statistics

-         Advanced skills in Excel required

-         Knowledge in HTML, JavaScript, and Photoshop is a plus

-         Desire to sell as well as implement.
