Ink is looking to hire an Editorial Assistant to work across two US-based, high-profile in-flight magazines. This is an entry-level position which requires working with the editorial and design staff across all areas of production, including research, writing and various administrative tasks. The position is based in Brooklyn, New York.
Applicants should have some magazine experience, preferably on a travel/lifestyle/leisure title. The successful candidate will be able to produce accurate and compelling copy, and have the initiative required to propose articles and follow them through to completion. Organizational ability and attention to detail are essential, as is being able to work efficiently under pressure
A pleasant, professional manner is also important; the role will involve communicating with industry professionals both within and outside of the company.
