Job Requirements
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, a demonstrable background of working in digital media to produce unique and insightful intelligence for a global audience. Candidates should have experience working with current digital publishing technologies and a strong understanding of SEO and social media presence and development for the publishing industry. Those with a degree in journalism or with some specialization in digital content/management preferred. Candidates should have the right to work in the United States.
The digital media manager will have primary responsibility for GFMag.com—acting as liaison between various internal and external stakeholders. The position will involve overseeing daily workflows for Global Finance Media’s web and digital assets, including: working with the business side to ensure sales/marketing online campaigns/goals are achieved; managing weekly web content—working with the editorial side to manage everything from story idea generation to go-live; managing monthly print content digitization; and building Global Finance Media’s web/mobile digital audience and social media profile.
