Audio/Video Manager
Sounds True, a multi-media publisher specializing in spirituality and holistic living seeks an experienced, full-time audio/video manager to join our creative division in Louisville, CO.
Primary job responsibilities include:
• Manage in-house a/v staff to ensure quality and on-time delivery of over 70 audio and video productions per year
• Oversee all aspects of production in various formats including DVDs, spoken-word audio, music, online courses, live events, and marketing collateral.
• Hands-on video production and leadership:
o Direct and produce video shoots for DVD, online courses, and marketing materials, on or under budget
o Edit 25-50% of all video productions
o Oversee all aspects of video production including audio sweetening, motion graphics and animation, and final delivery
The ideal candidate will have:
• 3+ years experience as a film/video director and producer
• A solid understanding of lighting theory, cinematography, and set design
• An extensive portfolio of edited video that demonstrates effective storytelling
• A forward-thinking visual aesthetic
• Creativity in working within small budgets
• Expert knowledge in Final Cut Pro and/or Premiere
• 2+ years of management experience, ability to collaborate with a team, and excellent negotiating and problem-solving skills
• Strong literacy in A/V physical and electronic delivery formats
• 2+ years of project management experience in an editorial environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
An affinity for media related to personal growth, spirituality, and holistic living is a must.
