POPSUGAR, the leader in online media for women and recently named to the "10 San Francisco Tech Companies You Wish You Worked For" by WIRED (http://www.wired.com/business/2012/10/best-san-francisco-tech-companies?pid=731), is looking for to add a Web Developer to our team.
You should have:
* Excellent hand-coded HTML and CSS skills
* Experience writing clean, unobtrusive Javascript/AJAX
* Experience integrating front-end code with server-side technology, ideally on a large-scale, dynamic website
* Experience using version control systems (CVS, Subversion)
* An entrepreneurial spirit
* A great eye for attractive user interface
You should be:
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative product development organization
* Someone with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and/or desire to shape a product used by millions
* Experienced with all aspects of web development from database querying to frontend javascript
* Comfortable integrating and building new web services
Comfortable mentoring fellow engineers and teaching best practices
* An excellent communicator
We'd love if you have:
* Experience with mobile web development
* Experience with SASS, OOCSS, backbone.js, or node.js
* Experience with Amazon AWS, redis, memcached, or solr
* An interest in analytics and A/B testing
