Job Requirements Manage the Social Media community. Write and publish branded content that supports our overall social media strategy. Create weekly and monthly reports on key social metrics.
Specific duties may include:
- Authors bi-weekly content to align with initiatives and key dates, including geo targeting
- Source & assemble assets (photos, videos etc. )
- Coordinates with all stakeholders for content generation and reviews (includes all content submissions for Youtube, Photo Sharing Site, SPG social channels etc.)
- Curates beauty industry content to share on social channels (monitoring key pubs, press pick-ups)
- Monitors posts that impact or relate to the brand and follow up with key contacts
- Collaborate with team to address guest concerns and identify opportunities for surprise & delight.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve awareness and engagement on key social channels
- Maintain weekly and monthly social media metrics reports
- Create case studies of successful implementations to build institutional knowledge of best practices
- Potential event activation (live tweeting, monitoring, content ideation etc.)
Requirements
We're seeking candidates with experience working on global beauty and/or fashion brands in social media or communications roles and a proven ability to write in the brand voice.
Prior experience as a social media community manager preferred, either at an agency or on the client side.
Candidates should have expert knowledge of social media platforms and ideally global social platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, and Instagram
- Excellent written, oral, and networking communication skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Is self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative
- Demonstrates problem solving and analytical skills

Bachelor's degree required.

Location: The consultant will work remotely.
Years of experience: 5+
Hours/Days: M-F 15-20hrs (We are flexible with the schedule but the person must be able to work during regular business hours)
