Palm confirms no visual voicemail on Pre

Visual Voicemail was one of the most visibly marketed features when the first iPhone was released. We really don't hear about it much these days. I think it is because that most of us don't really deal with a large number of voice mail messages on our cell phones. So, this feature is not as desirable or necessary as many (including me) once thought it would be. So, while the lack of Visual Voicemail for the Palm Pre is a checkbox that needs to remain unmarked and unmentioned in Palm's marketing material, I don't think it will be a black eye for the Pre.
