The New York Times' time with About.com may be coming to an end. The paper has been looking to get rid of the struggling website, which produces high-volume, low-cost content, and has a deal in place to sell it to Answers.com.

Jones told Today that she was disappointed in that, but also teared up when discussing the Times' article, which some have said was way off base.

Twitter has agreed to hand over the account information of an individual who threatened to carry out a theater shooting similar to the recent tragedy in Aurora. The New York Times reports that after a three day delay from Twitter officials, the company turned over identifying information about the suspect to New York city police.
