Kindle Fire Ships Monday, One Day Early (CNET / Crave)
Amazon is sparking its new Kindle Fire tablet one day early. TechCrunch: The reviews are in: The Kindle Fire is a dog. Mostly. And Wired totally refuses to buy the hype. paidContent: In a move that surely has nothing to do with the impending launch of the Nook Tablet, Amazon is shipping the Kindle Fire Monday and the Kindle Touch and Kindle Touch 3G Tuesday. eBookNewser: The Kindle Touch was originally scheduled to ship next week, but Sunday Amazon started telling buyers that their orders would be shipping ahead of schedule. GigaOM: The Kindle Fire isn't just getting attention from consumers. Developer interest is on the rise, making Amazon's new device the top Android tablet developers want to code for in North America, just a few points behind where the iPad debuted, according to a new developer survey from Appcelerator and IDC.
