Obama Explains Communications Failure on ’60 Minutes’

The Democratic party and the White House are dealing with the fallout of the midterm election “shellacking” this week, which if you’re an Obama supporter, you can chalk to a significant failure in explaining the mission.  Whether it is letting the tax cuts expire, TARP, the stimulus package, and the smaller whack-a-mole misinformation flare-ups such as the supposed $200 million per-day pricetag on the trip to India, Obama Comm is having trouble taking control of the narrative.

Tune in tonight to see the President address the perception problems himself on 60 Minutes. “I think that, over the course of two years we were so busy and so focused on getting a bunch of stuff done that, we stopped paying attention to the fact that leadership isn’t just legislation. That it’s a matter of persuading people. And giving them confidence and bringing them together. And setting a tone,” he explains to  Steve Kroft.
