Rumor Has Latisse Feeling a Side Effect

Rumor has it that Claire Danes, a spokesperson for Latisse, has suffered side effects from using the eyelash growth product.

According to the NY Post‘s Page Six column, an anonymous source says that Danes’ makeup artist had to pile on the concealer to cover up discoloration caused by using Latisse.

“We can only speak to what Claire has shared with us regarding her experience with Latisse, which is that she has been pleased with her results and continues to use the product,” a spokesperson told the Post. “Claire’s team has shared with us that she has not experienced skin hyperpigmentation following use of Latisse.” A spokesperson also told the newspaper the rumor is false.

Still, the story quotes Danes’ video diary where she says she experienced temporary redness that has gone away. Redness and discoloration are among the side effects listed on the Latisse website.

Danes also says in the video that there’s some “misinformation” and “confusion” out there about the product. This will make it difficult to correct that.
