Awards season isn’t just for Hollywood.
The PRSA is now accepting submissions for the Silver Anvil Awards, which will be handed out on June 7 in New York City. Categories include community relations, events, brand/reputation management, and crisis communications. Final deadline for submissions is February 24, with a $75 entry-fee discount for those who enter by February 10. More info about the Silver Anvils is available here.
The PRSA is also accepting submissions for the Bronze Anvil Awards, focused on PR tactics. Categories include media relations for consumer services programs, podcasts, blogger campaigns, and press conferences. Submissions are due March 30 with a $50 discount for those entries received by March 16. More detail about those awards are available here.
The Shorty Awards, recognizing the best on Twitter, has introduced a #PR award in conjunction with Muck Rack Pro (both businesses are part of Sawhorse Media). The PR award will go to the pro who best uses Twitter and other social media to share good info with journalists. You can submit your nomination here.
