Anna Banks ANNA BANKS
Executive Director, Strategy, Organic, Inc.

In her role as Executive Director, Strategy, Anna’s charter is to elevate Organic’s social media and digital customer relationship strategy offering as well as help evolve Organic’s strategic offering for the digital space. Anna has over 17 years of experience designing and developing consumer experiences across the online and offline space. In past roles she leveraged her direct marketing roots to build out the measurement capabilities of McCann Worldgroup’s social media practice. Anna also led Microsoft’s international Emerging Media Trials; regularly traveling to Microsoft international subsidiaries, to demonstrate how to effectively integrate emerging media into local marketing plans. Anna joined McCann Worldgroup as a digital strategy director for MRM Worldwide, the relationship marketing arm of McCann Worldgroup. Before joining McCann Worldgroup, Anna was vice president of strategy at data powerhouse Harte-Hanks, where she focused on new business and the development of integrated relationship marketing programs. Prior to Harte-Hanks, she worked with the WPP Group, the holding company for Ogilvy & Mather and Y&R. During her tenure, the team was recognized with honors from the American Advertising Federation’s ADDY Awards, Caples, the ICON Awards, and the ad:tech Awards. A veteran to the technology industry, Anna started her career at Lotus Development Corporation (now an IBM subsidiary), where she honed her analytic skills as a direct marketing manager for both lead generation and installed-base communications.

Joe Baratelli JOE BARATELLI
SVP, Group Creative Director, RPA

Originally from Dearborn, Michigan, Joe attended the College for Creative Studies in Detroit before graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. His advertising career began in Motown, where he worked at Young & Rubicam on Lincoln-Mercury. From there he joined Herman Design Group to work on Comerica Bank. In 1986 Joe relocated to Los Angeles to join RPA as an art director, in time earning the title of Group Creative Director. Joe has worked on a variety of product categories in all facets of marketing and communication. In the financial area, he has helped Comerica Bank, Home Fed Bank, Fidelity Federal Bank and American Century Investments. In the area of entertainment, Joe worked with VH1 to develop the “Go Behind the Music” campaign and supervised campaigns for Pioneer Electronics and Activision video- game developers. His retail experience includes La-Z-Boy Furniture, The Disney Store and Millers Outpost. Joe also supervised the launch of SOYJOY nutrition bars in the U.S. Throughout his career, Joe has worked in the automotive arena. He has helped develop campaigns for Lincoln-Mercury, Motorcraft parts and service, and Yokohama tires. These days his role is to oversee the national advertising for Honda Automobiles as well as their Corporate “Power of Dreams” campaign in the U.S. Joe’s work for these clients has been recognized with numerous awards, such as the ANDYs, EFFIEs and Beldings, along with Graphis and CA Annuals. In 2000 Joe joined the DGA and began directing commercials for Acura, ampm, ARCO, American Century Investments and Honda.

Royce Carvalho ROYCE CARVALHO
Associate Product Director - Digital Marketing, Johnson & Johnson

Royce Carvalho is currently the Associate Product Director with responsibility in digital marketing at Johnson & Johnson Vision Care for ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses. He oversees Acuvue.com, Acuminder.com, a robust customer relationship management program, as well as social media and search efforts for the brand. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson he received an MBA from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management. Before receiving an MBA, Royce spent five years working in the advertising industry for NBC-Universal at the Telemundo Network and in the NBC Owned Television Station Division. He received a BA in marketing from TCU in Fort Worth, Texas.

East Coast Sales Director, gWallet

Chris Emme is the East Coast Sales Director for gWallet, a network of social games and sites that connects advertisers with highly engaged users. The company’s newest product, Radium One, is a 3rd Generation ad network that targets based on relevant social connections. Over the last 12 years, Chris has crisscrossed the country living in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York working with digital media leaders Excite@Home, Microsoft, and Yahoo.

Neil Glassman NEIL GLASSMAN
Principal, Strategy and Marketing, Neilglassman.com

Neil Glassman is a digital and linear media marketing strategist whose clients benefit from improved new customer acquisition and enhanced customer retention. He has helped turn startup underdogs into wonderdogs and guided underperforming brands through their midlife crisis. Neil blogs for Social Times, covering social media marketing and advertising tools, techniques and success stories. Sometimes his posts go off on a tangent, focusing on small business social media issues or research with broader implications. Based in New York City, he's a pretty good cook.

Michael Lazerow MICHAEL LAZEROW

Michael is a serial entrepreneur who has co-founded four successful internet-based media companies. He has a passion for creating, managing and growing companies from the ground up. Michael’s first foray into entrepreneurship came with the founding of University Wire, an Associated Press-like network of more than 700 student-run newspapers that is now owned by CBS Corp. Michael sold U-Wire to Student Advantage, the nation’s leading student membership organization linking 1.5 million students through one affinity card program, in May 1997. Building on his growing experience in the online space, Michael next founded GOLF.com, which was purchased by Time Warner’s Time Inc. division in January 2006. Michael led GOLF.com from a start-up to a multi-million dollar profitable golf media company. He graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. with a B.S. and M.S. in Journalism in 1996. His byline has appeared in more than a dozen newspapers, including Roll Call, the newspaper of Capitol Hill, the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel, the Miami Herald, the Delaware State-News, The Capital Times in Madison, Wis., and the Montgomery Journal. Michael is currently the chairman and CEO of Buddy Media, Inc., a New York-based company whose Facebook management system is used by global brands and agencies. He lives in New York City with his wife, Kass, two sons, Myles and Cole, and daughter Vivian. .

Fernanda Romano FERNANDA ROMANO
Global Creative Director, Digital and Experiential, Euro RSCG Worldwide

Fernanda Romano is the Global Creative Director, Digital and Experiential at Euro RSCG Worldwide. Prior to this position, she served as Creative Director at JWT London where she worked with clients like Cadbury, Kellog's, Unilever, Nestlé, and HSBC. In addition to her role, she was the Executive Creative Director on the Nokia account. She started her life in advertising in 1998 and has worked for several Internet companies such as Parlo.com, Starmedia, and iBest. In 2002, Fernanda joined DM9DDB and was made Director of Other Medias and Special Projects by the end of 2004. Fernanda's main task of driving creative integration between all mediums for the agency's clients resulted in unprecedented honors for the agency. Her team at DM9DDB won multiple Cannes CyberLions in 2004 and 2005 and won Interactive Agency of the Year in 2005. Fernanda then moved on to become Executive Creative Director of Lowe New York, where she oversaw campaigns for national and global clients including Nokia NSeries, Saab USA, EarthLink, and XM Satellite Radio, among others. At Lowe, she was responsible for building an integrated creative team, making sure the approach to client problems was media agnostic and focused on the ideas. It was also during her time at Lowe that AdAge selected Fernanda as one of the industry's "Women to Watch." And in July 2007, Fernanda accepted a global opportunity in Lowe Madrid, a.k.a. Lola, a new group within the Lowe network to be focused on international campaigns. At Lola, Fernanda's role as Global Creative Director included, among other projects, the winning pitch for Unilever's global ice cream business. Fernanda has received numerous honors and awards for her work.

Aaron Shapiro AARON SHAPIRO

Aaron Shapiro is Partner at HUGE, the full-service digital agency within Interpublic Group. HUGE, named one of ten agencies to watch in 2010 by Advertising Age, focuses on helping companies build digitally-driven businesses. At HUGE, he drives digital strategy for some of the firm’s largest clients, including JetBlue, NBC Universal, Pepsi, Target and TimeWarner. Prior to HUGE, Shapiro was Founding CEO of Silverpop Systems, the email marketing service provider, a management consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton and the founder of a national magazine distributed by Time Warner. Shapiro regularly contributes to industry events and publications and is often quoted in media outlets as a digital strategy thought leader.

David Stewart DAVID STEWART
