59.2 Million Watch Final Presidential Debate
Between the 59.2 million that watched the final presidential debate across 11 TV networks, the 10.7 million watching Monday Night Football on ESPN and the 8.1 million watching the NLCS Game 7 on FOX, last night was no ordinary night on TV.
That’s 78 million watching just those three programs. But because of football and baseball, the debate moderated by CBS’s Bob Schieffer, took a viewership hit from the first two debates.
- First 2012 Debate: 67.2 million
- 2012 VP Debate: 51.4 million
- Second 2012 Debate: 65.6 million
- Third 2012 Debate: 59.2 million
This year’s Super Bowl stands as the most-watched program ever with 111.3 million watching.
