First on TVNewser: Following yesterday's announcement of a reorganization of the operations and finance areas of ABC News, TVNewser has learned as many as 21 jobs have been eliminated. However, insiders tell us a number of new jobs have already been posted, and that those who were cut are being encouraged to apply for the added positions. In the end, the insider figures around 11 jobs will be lost.

In his note yesterday, ABC News president David Westin wrote, "...we will reduce the level of operations management and the number of operations positions overall."
