ABC News' medical documentary series "Hopkins" premiered last night, and overnight numbers put it in first place at 10pm (Fast Nationals, Live+SD).

Hopkins edged CBS' Swingtown for first place (5.8-5.7 million) in Total Viewers. It also improved upon its lead in by 2.4 million viewers.

It was ABC's best non-sports numbers at 10pm during the summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day) since August 2006.

Hopkins airs every Thursday for the next five weeks.
