Back home now after surgery for breast cancer, Robin Roberts has a message to viewers, read by Diane Sawyer on GMA and posted on ABCNews.com. "I cannot even begin to adequately say thank you," she writes. "I have truly been touched by your e-mails and messages of support... I am incredibly grateful that my surgery went well Friday. Thanks for all the prayers - I owe you big time!"

Roberts goes on to write that she is "still quite sore from the procedure" and needs to take some time to heal. "Right now the best medicine for me is to be at home surrounded by family and loved ones. Thank you for sharing your stories. You inspire me more than you could possibly know. My family and I are eternally grateful."

Final test results should come in later this week. At that point, Roberts will determine her course of treatment.
