ABC’s Abbie Boudreau Released from Hospital

ABC News correspondent Abbie Boudreau has been released from a Richmond, VA hospital after she and her producer, Mary Bruce, were involved in a serious car accident on their way to a story.

Boudreau, who joined ABC from CNN in November, and Bruce were in a car that was rear-ended by a semi Monday morning.

TVNewser has learned Boudreau was released from the hospital yesterday after undergoing a series of tests. Bruce, who is based in Washington, DC was treated and released Monday and is back home.

Doctors will continue to monitor Boudreau and Bruce. But both are expected to make a full recovery.
