Al Sharpton Is Ok With ‘SNL’ Mocking Him… But Stay Away From the Blueberry Pie!

MSNBC “PoliticsNation” host Al Sharpton was mocked by “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, but he seems to be taking it in stride. The host addressed the parody in a segment yesterday, and while he said it was funny, he said that “SNL” crossed the line when making fun of his “Lean Forward” commercial in which he laments how the Republicans are stealing his blueberry pie:

1. MSNBC is now attempting to brand itself as more overtly political than Fox. Leave aside the issue of whether this is an accurate assessment of the news coverage of those two organizations–I’m not familiar with any Fox promo campaign that largely consists of more or less stating that Democrats are ruining the country.
