CNN’s AC360 was presented the Excellence in Network Television award from the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association at an awards dinner this past weekend. The dinner was part of NLGJA’s annual conference, held this year with other Unity journalists in Las Vegas. Anderson Cooper, who publicly acknowledged his homosexuality earlier this summer, was not in attendance so he recorded this short speech. The dinner was hosted by CNN’s Miguel Marquez.
