On “AC360 Later” last night, Anderson Cooper recounted his interview with CNN reporter Randi Kaye on Friday, where Kaye’s report on “ganjapreneurs” took her to various marijuana dispensaries in a pot-filled limousine.
“Just look at that, it smelled like Willie Nelson’s bandana in there, I’m sure,” Cooper said.
Cooper then played back his interview with Kaye, whose “contact high” left her visibly giggly: “I think I need to come home,” Kaye said after describing joints the size of a small cannon.
“Just to be clear, I’m not taking pot shots at Randi Kaye,” Cooper said. “It’s just that many of us in the newsroom thought that this was pretty much the greatest live hit that was ever on the program.”
