Anti-Obama Video On ‘Fox & Friends’ Raises Eyebrows

On Fox & Friends this morning, Fox News ran a four-minute piece heavily criticizing President Obama’s record since taking office in 2009. As The Baltimore Sun‘s David Zurawik described it:

Today’s version of the morning show featured an anti-Obama video that resembled propaganda films from 1930′s Europe more than it did responsible TV politics of today. And the remarkable thing was the the witless crew on the couch that serves as hosts for this show had the audacity to present it as journalism and congratulate the producer who put it together.

While there are some reports that Fox News had pulled the video, it appears to still be available, although there is no introduction or commentary from the F&F hosts.

> Update: A statement from Bill Shine, EVP of programming for Fox News: “The package that aired on FOX & Friends was created by an associate producer and was not authorized at the senior executive level of the network. This has been addressed with the show’s producers.”
