As Unemployment Rate Ticks up to 9.2 Percent, CBS ‘Early Show’ Plans Jobs Summit
After today’s underwhelming employment news (18,000 jobs created in June; unemployment rate up to 9.2%) tomorrow’s CBS “Early Show” will host a jobs summit. CBS News Business and Economics correspondent Rebecca Jarvis hosts a group of unemployed workers asking experts for specific help in finding gainful employment.
Jarvis will be joined by John Challenger of outplacement consulting firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas and Nicole Williams, Connection Director at LinkedIn.
The special job summit will be broadcast live on “The Early Show” Saturday from 7-9am.
