Cable Network Ranker: Week of July 11

The end of the Casey Anthony trial resulted in a steep drop for HLN in the cable network rankings for the week of July 11-17. Fox News was the top cable news channel for the week, placing fifth in primetime and ninth in total day.

HLN dropped to 23rd in prime and 25th in total day (down from 7th and 8th last week), but still placed ahead of CNN and MSNBC.

MSNBC was 25th in primetime and 28th in total day, while CNN was 34th in primetime and 33rd in total day.
