brewer_7-17.JPGMSNBC’s doc block last weekend propelled the network to some of its best recent prime time weekend figures in the A25-54 demo.

During Saturday and Sunday in prime time, MSNBC aired “Caught on Camera,” hosted by Contessa Brewer, and some of the “Lockup” series.

On Saturday, MSNBC had its best prime time average since December 30, 2006 (excluding the South Carolina primary). MSNBC averaged 319,000 viewers, FNC had 165,000 and CNN 142,000.

Sunday’s average of 361,000 demo viewers (FNC had 225,000 and CNN had 198,000) was the best Sunday delivery since December 21, 2003 (excluding Katrina coverage).

Caught on Camera debuted as a series on June 28.

Fox News was #1 in Total Viewers during prime time on both nights.
