CNN Newsroom Gets New Graphics Package

The good folks at NewscastStudio have pulled screengrabs and video of the new graphics package for “CNN Newsroom.” It is a dramatic change, with the viewer appearing to be pulled through a series of tubes, finally settling at the “Newsroom” logo, with sparks flying.

WATCH:

We thought the end of the package looked somewhat familiar. Sure enough, compare 1:01-1:10 in the video above to 0:26-0:35 in the video below.
