CNN Havana bureau chief Lucia Newman is joining Al Jazeera International as a correspondent based in Buenos Aires. On Friday, Lou Dobbs thanked Newman for her twenty years of service. He didn't mention where she was heading, but TVNewser has confirmed it's Argentina.

Newman will move to Al Jazeera International at the end of the month as the "Southern Cone" correspondent. The move will be officially announced soon.

Newman will join other prominent journalists at AJI, including David Frost, Dave Marash, and Riz Khan.
