Yesterday “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” looked into claims made on Fox News that the White House was making a controversial choice in inviting rapper and actor Common (née Common Sense) to appear at a poetry event.
Common has written songs that certainly sound violent to people that are not too familiar with rap music, though as Stewart points out, they pale in comparison to lyrics by artists such as Johnny Cash.
