‘Early Show’ Changes Outside, and In
After months of meetings, the evolving “Early Show” evolved even further this morning as staffers are learning about changes to the internal structure of the show — producers, writers, bookers, production assistants, etc.
TVNewser has learned some positions are being eliminated, others are being added but that the head count will not be reduced.
Of the 100+ on staff, the reorganization “affects a small number of employees,” an insider says. Affected staffers are being encouraged to apply for other jobs at theĀ network. In recent weeks, the “Early Show” has brought on and promoted senior staffers and is building a new newsroom and studio.
