Evening News Ratings: Week of January 28

All three evening newscasts grew their total viewership compared to the same week last year. “ABC World News with Diane Sawyer” showed the most improvement: up +8% in total viewers and up +7% in younger viewers. “CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley” grew its audience +7% in total viewers and was up slightly in younger viewers as well. No. 1 “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams” was up slightly in total viewers and down -2% in the younger demo.

• Total Viewers: 9,340,000 8,668,000 6,990,000
• A25-54: 2,552,000 2,242,000 1,988,000
