Evening News Ratings: Week of November 14
The “CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley” may still be running third in the evening news race, but five months after Pelley took over the broadcast, it’s showing the most growth. “Evening News” had its best numbers since the week of January 31, during the height of the uprising in Egypt.
Compared to the same week last year the CBS news broadcast is up +10% in Total Viewers and up +6% in A25-54 viewers. #2 ABC “World News with Diane Sawyer” was up slightly in Total Viewers, and down slightly in younger viewers and #1 “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams“, which still has a 1M viewer lead over its nearest competitor, was down last week in both measurements.
