World News with Charles Gibson was #1 in total viewers and the 25-54 demo for the May sweeps. It marks ABC's "second straight sweeps victory and first back-to-back win in 11 years," ABC says.

There was another champagne toast at World News today to celebrate the sweeps win. Gibson, David Westin and Jon Banner congratulated the staff in NYC and DC.
