FNC Hires Fired WJLA Reporter

Fox News Channel hired Doug McKelway to their DC Bureau as a general assignment reporter. He comes to FNC from ABC DC affiliate WJLA, where he was fired for on-air criticism of President Barack Obama.

Before being fired from WJLA, McKelway was in hot water for clashes with his boss over on-air partisan rhetoric in August. The tension boiled over with the news director in September, which led to his firing.

The reporter started his new job at Fox News Channel on Monday.
