LAURA INGRAHAM JOINS FOX NEWS CHANNEL

Leading talk radio personality and best selling author Laura Ingraham has joined FOX News Channel (FNC) as primary substitute host of The O'Reilly Factor and Hannity & Colmes, as well as a contributor, announced Bill Shine, Senior Vice President of Programming.
In making the announcement, Shine said, "I have been an admirer of Laura's work for quite some time. She is a welcome addition to the FOX News family."

Ingraham added, "After years of guest appearances on FOX, I couldn't be happier about the opportunity to add my voice to FNC's stellar lineup."

In addition to hosting her own syndicated radio program, Ingraham most recently authored Power to the People, which topped The New York Times and Amazon's bestseller list shortly after its debut. She is also the author of New York Times bestseller Shut Up & Sing: How the Elites in Hollywood, Politics...and the UN are Subverting America (September 2003) and The Hillary Trap (June 2000).

Prior to the launch of her radio career with The Laura Ingraham Show in 2001, she served as a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and Ralph K. Winter on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. After clerking, Ingraham worked as a white-collar criminal defense attorney for Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
FOX News Channel (FNC) is a 24-hour general news service covering breaking news as well as political, entertainment and business news.

For more than five years, FNC has been the most watched cable news channel in the nation, presenting the top eight out of ten programs in the genre for 2007 to date. Owned by News Corp., FNC is available in more than 90 million home.
