O'Reilly Blasts Hackers, Hackers Hack Him Back

oreilly_9-21.jpgWired is reporting FNC anchor Bill O'Reilly's personal Web site, BillOReilly.com, has been hacked in a response to his attacks on hackers and Gawker.com this week.

"The attack was retaliation for comments that O'Reilly made on the air this week about web sites that published e-mails obtained from the Yahoo account of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, according to a press release distributed by WikiLeaks late Friday," writes Kim Zetter. The hacked material includes "names, e-mail addresses, city and state, and the password," subscribers use on his site.

O'Reilly has been vehement in his attacks on those who hacked into Gov. Palin's email account, and the "despicable, slimy, scummy," Web site that published the emails. That post on Gawker has now been viewed more than one million times.

O'Reilly has even suggested the arrest of Gawker's founder and editor Nick Denton (although not by name), saying the police should go to his house "tonight" and, "put him in cuffs and take him down and book him."

Click continued to see a segment where O'Reilly calls on the "hackers and those who posted the emails go to prison for a very long time," and Megyn Kelly argues Gawker did nothing criminally wrong...
